Come take a behind the scenes look at the M. Eugene Merchant Technology Development Center!

Don’t miss our latest addition, the Keyence Digital Microscope capable of 200X magnification. This device can create 3D surface models.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but attendees are welcome to come at their convenience, and stay as long as they would like during the tour hours. A tour will take approximately an hour to complete, and demos will run continuously all day.

Dr. Merchant 

In 1998, in recognition of his lifetime contributions to enhancing the competitiveness of manufacturers around the world, TechSolve's machining laboratory was named The M. Eugene Merchant Technology Development Center.

For more than 60 years, Dr. Merchant was one of the world's most influential people in the field of manufacturing. In a lifetime of work in manufacturing automation, he has been honored with dozens of awards around the world. This includes being only one of 25 people who have been inducted into the Automation Hall of Fame at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
