Net-Harmonizer®/CUTDATA™

A partnership with Manufacturing Laboratories, Inc. (MLI), Net-Harmonizer® with CUTDATA™ is the web enabled version of MLI's Harmonizer package combined with TechSolve's machining material database CUTDATA™.

Machining process specification, speeds, feeds and depths of cut involves a complex trade-off of cutting tool stiffness and damping, spindle type, work piece material, tool style/geometry and tool material/coatings. The Harmonizer addresses the stiffness and damping issues to best select optimal spindle speeds over an infinite spindle speed range by monitoring machining operations. Information from the CUTDATA™ database can further specify candidate spindle speeds by identifying maximum limit speeds as well as limit feeds and provide relative performance values (depth of cuts) for various workpiece and cutter materials. The two combined therefore provide the most comprehensive use of cutting and machining data for specifying process parameters (speeds, feeds and depths of cut) that will enhance and maximize cutting performance and tool life.
