Company Profile: This client is an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer of power measurement systems and solutions. Located in central Ohio, this company is a leading provider of application-specific power and energy measurement components.

Company Profile: A world leader of dry ice blasting technology for over 20 years, Cold Jet, LLC develops and supplies dry ice blasting systems, production equipment, engineered systems, and nozzles. Cold Jet’s unparalleled experience enables them to provide environmentally engineered solutions to difficult cleaning, coatings removal, and surface preparation problems. Employing more than 80 experts at their Loveland, Ohio, headquarters, Cold Jet also has a network of hundreds of independent contractors and distributors throughout the world.

Project: Capital Spring is a division company of MW Industries Inc., which is a supplier of springs, fasteners, and flat stamp-related products. Besides extension, torsion, and compression springs, Capital Spring manufactures cam parts, which are machined from A2 tool steel pieces and used in spring machines.

The objective of this project was to optimize Capital Spring’s tool path programs, which are used to machine the cam part.

Company Profile: This aerospace manufacturer is the largest in the world, with its heritage mirroring the history of aviation. They are the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military aircraft, and the nation's largest NASA contractor. In terms of sales, this company is the largest exporter in the United States.

Project: This aerospace manufacturer partnered with TechSolve to provide Lean Manufacturing expertise in a strategic supply chain initiative surrounding a military guidance

Project Title: Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) — Breaking into New Markets

Company Profile: D&E Machine Company is a family-owned and operated business that opened in Lebanon, Ohio, in 1971. Kent and Kim Coomer acquired the business in 1990 upon retirement of the founders. The machine shop specializes in CNC machining, prototyping, and custom machine builds and operates out of an 11,000 square-foot facility with nine employees. D&E Machine Company currently serves the automobile, medical, steel, packaging, and energy industries.

Project Title: Rebuilding a Reputation for Excellence

Company Profile: Located in Franklin, Ohio, Ferco Tech fabricates parts for industrial and aerospace turbine engines. Specializing in sheet metal and tube parts manufactured from aluminum, high nickel alloys, stainless steel, and titanium, the minority-owned/woman-owned fabricator is certified in ISO 9001:2000 and AS 9100:2004 standards.
