All Group Sessions

Designed from the ground up to focus on Southwest Ohio’s manufacturing workforce, and how to develop, recruit, and retain employees. The summit seeks to answer manufacturer’s questions and concerns about the state of their workforce.

Topics discussed will be; how to strengthen recruitment and retention, how to support and develop the workforce of the future, how to integrate technology into manufacturing processes, workforce development opportunities in Ohio, employee training resources, et cetera. In combination with those topics, there will be various panel discussions and Q&A sessions intended to foster communication between manufacturers and the resources available to them. These resources, whether they be educational, government based, or consultants, will help alleviate the stress and costs of developing new employees in the manufacturing industry.

NEW WAYS OF WORKING: Hybrid Works, Now What?

Kelly Kolar, President and Founder of Kolar Design

8:15 AM - 8:45 AM

Millions of businesses changed their way of working overnight as a 15-day shut down turned to 15 months. As a result, technology accelerated, meetings pivoted, and workflows evolved.

The nature of work is changing as employee behaviors and consumer behaviors have shifted.  We have been studying the impact of Covid-19 pre and post pandemic on corporate workplace strategy.  We call it N-WOW (New way of working). Did you know 79% of people are now focused on their well-being and work-life balance? Did you know 75% of employees want personal “Choice” in their workplace setting.

The digital and physical worlds are converging and at KEI™ we are studying space innovation and are evaluating what Hybrid looks like in different organizations and around the globe. We are shaping the future of work, with quantitative and qualitative data after 3 decades of experience at the intersection of People, Process, and Place .

We will share future forward thinking through case studies demonstrating new technologies  you can put into practice to understand the global paradigm shift .
